Manage your sheep, goats and cattle.

Wanar tracks your herds by headcount: births, sales, deaths and adjustments are recorded herd by herd. You see how the herd changes month by month, alongside livestock costs and sales.

15,000 FCFA per month per farm, every activity and the whole team included, no commitment.

What you track in Wanar

Headcount and movements

Births, sales, deaths and adjustments, herd by herd, with the headcount month by month.

Deaths and declared causes

Each death can be recorded with its cause, and statistics group deaths by cause. This is the cause given by the team, not a veterinary diagnosis.

Care and vaccinations

Vaccination campaigns and care. A finding flags herds that have not been vaccinated for a year.

A record for the animals that matter

Herds are tracked by headcount. An individual record is still possible for breeding stock or sick animals.

Livestock costs and sales

Feed, care and animal sales are linked to livestock: you see its margin next to your other activities.

Figures come from what your team records: nothing is measured automatically by sensors.

A herd changes every week: a birth, a sale at the market, a lost animal. Without written records, the real headcount and what the herd cost become hard to piece together, especially before Tabaski or a fattening sale.

Wanar is used for the herd of the Minawara farm, in the Kaffrine region of Senegal.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to record every animal?

No. Herds are tracked by headcount. An individual record is still possible for breeding stock or sick animals.

Which species can I track?

Sheep, goats and cattle, plus an “other” category for animals you want to track separately.

Is the cause of death a diagnosis?

No. It is the cause given by the team, grouped in the statistics. For a diagnosis, see a veterinarian.
